My family and I have lived in a few locations around the world making me an expert on the following destinations:
- The Netherlands – Currently living here and have been here for almost 3 years. I have explored many different amazing areas in the Netherlands, not just Amsterdam.
- Montana – I lived in Bozeman, Montana for over 6 years. I know the ins and outs of this beautiful mountain town.
- Yellowstone National Park – Because I lived nearby in Bozeman, I have visited Yellowstone too many times to count. I know this park and can help you plan an epic adventure.
- Panama – My partner and I were Peace Corps volunteers from 2009 to 2011, and I was able to explore Panama in depth. I recently returned in 2023, so I am not out of touch.

Not only do I enjoy the trip itself, but also the planning and excitement leading up to the vacation. Discovering the top attractions and putting these together in a well-organized itinerary is so much fun for me.
That’s why I plan trips for others, too. It’s a great job that I really enjoy! And I know that I’m an anomaly. Not everyone gets a thrill from it.
Over the years, I have visited 25 different countries. Most recently, I have made travel my business. I’ve developed a good understanding of what travelers desire and how to make that a reality.
My blog gives overall general travel advice. I highlight the attractions I personally believe are best, but I also know we all have different interests.
I may enjoy taking a gondola to the top of a mountain in Italy, hiking around for a couple of hours, and enjoying a pizza and an Aperol spritz at a mountain hut, while others would prefer spending the morning learning about the tragic story of Anne Frank on a tour of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
My personalized itineraries differ from my blog posts. They aren’t general. They are exclusive, detailed, and focus specifically on what makes you and your family happy.
Additionally, I am loyal only to you. Unlike traditional travel agents who get paid to promote their travel partners, I handpick hotels, vacation rentals, attractions and restaurants solely with your preferences in mind.

What Is The Process?
I want to make the planning process as stress-free for you as possible. At the same time, I also need to know your preferences, so you will need to give me some input along the way.
The goal is to not overwhelm you with choices, but to save you time while crafting an itinerary that is special for you.
Here’s what you can expect if you purchase a tailor-made itinerary from Restless Pursuits.
- We start with a call. The goal of this meeting is to get to know you a little bit, learn your travel preferences, your budget, your interests and any other details that would help me create an amazing, personalized itinerary just for you. This call will last 30 to 60 minutes. Book your call here!
- The other reason for the initial conversation is to get to know me and decide whether you want to move forward with a custom-made itinerary.
- If you agree that I’m the right fit, I will create a first draft of the itinerary and send it to you for review.
- You will then send me any changes you would like to make.
- After I get the changes, I will send the final itinerary back to you with all the extras the come along with it.
Personalized Travel Itinerary Pricing
Creating a personalized experience takes time. To create a bespoke itinerary that speaks to you and no one else, I don’t use the same hotels and tours like traditional travel agents. These travel agents partner with companies and rely on their commissions.
On the other hand, I really listen to you and make choices based on what you want from your trip.
The initial call is €47. This first conversation lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, during which we get to know each other. There’s no obligation to purchase an itinerary from me after the meeting.
During the call, we will discuss where you are interested in visiting, your travel style, places you don’t want to miss, and your budget. I’ll provide a few thoughts and recommendations based on our discussion, too.
After our call, you will decide if you would like to move forward with the personalized itinerary.
Customized itineraries cost €87 per day planned.
